20th anniversary of Porsche Carrera Cup Japan 2020 series held

Porsche Carrera Cup Japan has been following the history of Japanese racing since 2001. The 911 GT3 Cup, in which the DNA of Porsche Motorsports is alive, is an event in which powerful battles take place at the Suzuka Circuit and other stages.

In this season's PCCJ series, it was not possible to predict when the new type of coronavirus would converge, and the start date could not be announced. However, as a result of careful consideration of the nationwide cancellation of the emergency declaration and the gradual resumption of various social activities in Japan, it was announced that the event will be held according to the following calendar.

The PCCJ series celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The 2020 season will start with the co-sponsorship of the Okayama Challenge Cup race in Okayama in June. This season, instead of the "overall (total ranking)" and "gentleman class" for all conventional drivers, a new two-class system will be introduced: "Pro-Amakras" and "Amakras".
