Toyota's Crown and Nissan's Cedric and Gloria have long been synonymous with Japanese luxury sedan. If it was a Toyota fan, it might have been "someday a crown", and if it was a Nissan fan, Cedric and Gloria would have been one of his longing.

430 Cedric & Gloria debuted in June 1979. Body type is based on 4-door sedan, 4-door HT and 5-door wagon are available. The main grade is a 2L, 2.8L 6-cylinder NA engine, and a 2.2L diesel engine is also added.

Except for the cheapest grades, the instrument panel has a wood grain pattern, giving it a luxurious design.

The front passenger's seat is equipped with a relaxed seat that allows a part of the seat back to fall backward in the upper grade, and allows the passengers in the rear seat to extend their legs slowly.

Driver's seats have been replaced with Recaro seats for the owner's preference, but the original seats have the same design as a passenger seat, like a sofa.
