Prime Day is held in July every year, but it was already expected to be postponed.ReutersReported in April that it would be postponed until at least August due to the effects of the new coronavirus.

Amazon has been busy responding to customer flooding orders in recent months. In the midst of a public health crisis, many new safety regulations and shipping restrictions had to be introduced in order to continue to provide food and daily necessities. The company, which operates one of the largest online stores in the world, has just begun to return to a state where it is somewhat close to the normal operation system and quick shipping time.

Preparation for Prime Day and the holiday season usually requires several months of planning, so that work will be postponed to prioritize more urgent tasks.
