Stable product supply will become an issue for the future in response to such demand growth, but CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Luca Maestri told us at the press release announcement that the new iPhone product will be in the second half of September if it is as usual. It is said that the launch of the product will be delayed for several weeks.

iPhone sales of $26,418 million were up 2% year-on-year, showing little growth compared to other products, but this was due to the favorable performance of the low-priced iPhone SE. With market revenue well in excess of $22.37 billion, more users were switching from Android since the same time last year. Regarding the next iPhone, the US Qualcomm announced in the financial results on the 29th, the forecast for the July-September period lower than the market forecast due to "delayed release of 5G flagship mobile phone", and already some Analysts pointed out that the next iPhone may be delayed. In an interview, Maestri did not reveal the reason for the delay.

Demand for Macs and iPads grew so much that supply could not keep up. Wearables were also strong, but many Apple retail stores were still closed, and Apple Watch sales had an unpredictable effect. Services remained strong with 15% growth, but just below the market forecast of $13,180 million.
