It was revealed that SO Dan Carter [38], a former Rugby star player from New Zealand and who left Kobe Steel, will transfer to the Blues. A local New Zealand [NZ] Herald newspaper electronic edition reported on the 3rd.

Super Rugby, which had been suspended due to the spread of the new coronavirus, will be restarted as "Super Rugby Aotearoa" on the 13th in a battle system with 5 teams in NZ. With that one team, Carter joins Blues, which is based in Auckland, North Island.

The Blues recorded 5 wins and 2 losses this season, placing second in the NZ5 team. The team includes SO Boden Barrett [29] and others, who have been attracting attention as commanders of the NZ representative of the 19th World Cup in Japan.

Carter said when he joined Kobe Steel in 1818, "I'm thinking of ending my career in Kobe," but decided to continue working in my country.
