G-SHOCK antenna shop opens in Shibuya

On July 28, Casio Computer Co., Ltd. opened an antenna shop for shock-resistant watch "G-SHOCK" in Shibuya, Tokyo. Shibuya is a special place that sparked the G-SHOCK blockbuster in the 1990s. From there, we will send out the world view of G-SHOCK and the latest information.

The new shop "G-SHOCK STORE SHIBUYA" will open at "RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK" [South, 2nd floor], a commercial facility within "MIYASHITA PARK" which will open as a new landmark in Shibuya. In addition to exhibiting and selling an abundant lineup of G-SHOCK and BABY-G, a maintenance booth will also be set up where a service specialist can handle battery replacements. Business hours are from 11:00 to 21:00, maintenance booth is from 11:00 to 19:00 [last reception is 18:00].

On the inside wall of G-SHOCK STORE SHIBUYA, the original hand-painted art "G-Explosion" by graphic artist Eric Hayes, who designed the G-SHOCK anniversary logo and various collaboration models, is displayed. Hayes commented, "We expressed the vibrant and lively "G-SHOCK" character with abstract graphic arts, not simply using a logo."
