The smartphone "Pixel 4" released by Google on October 24, 2019. In addition to the camera performance that has evolved from the previous model Pixel 3, in the spring of 2020, “Motion Sense” and “Offline voice transcription” that can be operated with hand gestures will be implemented in Japan. Isn't there a lot of people who have switched from the iPhone for these functions?
This article introduces screen shots and screen recording methods that you should keep in mind when using Pixel 4.
There are two ways to screenshot on Pixel 4. First, press and hold the power button on the right side of the terminal. The four icons "Power off", "Restart", "Save screen" and "Emergency call" are displayed on the side of the screen. Select "Save screen" to take a screenshot.
▲ You can share / edit / delete photos by tapping the notification displayed at the top of the screen after the screenshot.
One thing to keep in mind when taking screenshots in this way is continuous shooting. The above image was taken intentionally to show a notification, but if you take a series of sloppy screenshots, all the photos will have a notification icon.
The other is to press and hold the power button and volume button "-" at the same time. Here, you will not be notified after taking a screenshot, so it is safe to shoot continuously.
■ Screen recording [screen recorder]
The screen recording is installed by default on the iPhone, but it is not available on the Pixel. So search on Google Play for keywords such as "screen recording" and "screen recorder" and download apps that have such features. The advertisements and functions vary depending on the application, so please download some and try them out.
My recommendation is "AZ Screen Recorder". There is an advertisement display, but the basic use is free. By charging, you can open functions such as voice recording from microphone, saving video to SD card, displaying screen touch, and setting video quality. It is a recommended application for those who record games and so on.
