A collection of classic hot rod cars, collected by James Hetfield, the frontman of one of America's leading bands Metallica, will be on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
In 2019, the Petersen Automotive Museum exhibited cars that appeared in Hollywood movies such as Delorean and Batman Car on the theme of movie and car entertainment, but in 2020, he joined his custom car through James Hetfield's collection. Show passion. Ten custom cars will be on display, all of which have never been made public. Each car will be accompanied by a photo showing how it was built, and a video of Hetfield himself talking about the collection will be played.
Exhibited cars are lined up as 1948 Jaguar "Black Pearl", 1934 Packard "Aquarius", 1953 Buick Skylark "Skyscraper", 1937 Lincoln Zephyr "Voodoo Priest", 1936 Auburn "Slowburn", 1936 Year Ford "Iron Fist", 1937 Ford Coupe "Crimson Ghost", 1932 Ford Roadster "Blackjack", a collection of hot rod cars full of personality.
Hetfield also appeared at the opening event held on January 30, and two limited guitar auctions will be held.
The exhibition itself will be held from February 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020.
