The 3rd Nostalgic 2 Days held in Pacifico Yokohama. On the corner of the special exhibition vehicle on the right side of the main stage was the striking red and black B310 Sunny Coupe. The B310 Sunny Coupe has become a popular machine in the classic car races organized by the JCCA [Japan Classic Car Association], as one race category called the TS Cup is established. The B310 Sunny was produced from 1977 to 1981. BIn recent years, while the B310 Sunny has been lifted in motor sports fields in Japan, the legendary Sunny Coupe had a deep sleep in the late 1980s, with its footprints interrupted. That was the “Advan Sunny”, which was unveiled at the Pacifico Yokohama venue for the first time in 24 years as a special display vehicle for Nostalgic 2 Days.
Advan Sunny was originally built as a racing vehicle. Produced as an endurance race specification at Auto Clinic Nissan in 1982, and participated in the 1983 Fuji 1000km race. The entry name was "ADVAN Sunny", which was the result of 13th place in A class [163 laps completed].
It is an uncut headlight lens used in many cars now, but it was already installed 24 years ago. At the request of Yamamoto, sponsor PIAA produced one-off. It was attached to Advan Sunny. The front bumper appears to have been diverted from the A175 Lancer Turbo, but is only used as the original model. Newly produced one-off using carbon panels. It is a super lightweight part that can be lifted with one finger.
The design of the wheel was Advan A3A, which was popular at the time, but it was painted red when supplied by the manufacturer, which is also a Yamamoto special. Combined with a slick tire with a bias structure.
