Mai Shiraishi's photo book totals 400,000 copies, 7th anniversary of its release

Nogizaka46 Mai Shiraishi's second photobook "Passport" [Kodansha] was reprinted with 20,000 copies in the 28th reprint, and the cumulative number of circulations exceeded 400,000.

The 7th is the third anniversary of the release. It is an unusual long hit. Released in February 2017, the first edition was 100,000 copies, but it was reprinted almost every month and ranked first in Oricon's annual photobook sales ranking of the same year. The following 18 years, sales continued to grow with last year. Among the photobooks of the "Sakamichi Series" members who continue to make a big hit, 400,000 is the top figure. A graduation from the group was announced on the 7th of last month, and a sales representative at Kodansha commented, "Since Mr. Shiraishi's announcement of graduation, we have been receiving a lot of inquiries and are working hard to respond."
