Japanese men and women have won Abek. For women, Miho Takagi [25, assistant at Nikkei University] won his first victory in the 500 and 1000 meter Sprint World Championships.
This is the second Japanese women's sprint in the world, following Nao Kodaira  in 2017 and 19th. Two years ago, he won the all-round world championship, which competes in four short-range to long-range events. The championship in both categories was the fifth victory for women in history. Nao Kodaira , who was running for the third time in a row for two consecutive years, was second.
For boys, Tatsuya Niihama [23 = Takasaki Health and Welfare Professional] won his first victory. Japan's best sprint in the world for the first time in 33 years since Akira Kuroiwa in 1983 and 1987.
