Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism presents BIM workflow to share usage images among organizations

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism held the first meeting of the BIM Environment Promotion Subcommittee on the 4th to discuss the flow from ordering to maintenance and the diversity of ordering methods.

The subcommittee requires standard guidelines for building BIM in order to make the best use of BIM, which private companies are actively working on, by grasping the consistent flow from ordering and design to maintenance management. An attempt to organize items and requirements.

The aim is to share future utilization images among organizations. At the first meeting, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the secretariat, showed the difference from the conventional workflow, the confirmation of budget and costs at an early stage, and the necessity of approval at each stage.

The subcommittee plans to hold up to the 4th meeting within the fiscal year, and report the results of the examination at the meeting of the supervising architectural BIM promotion meeting held at the end of the fiscal year.
