Porsche and New York-based fashion designer Teddy Santis collaborated to create the 911 Carrera 4 (964) "ALD 964" in 1990.
It uses leather, fabric, and check patterns that are used in the Fall / Winter 2020 collection of Santis brand Aimé Leon Dore. The leather used for the dashboard, door panels and steering wheel is made by Schott. The exterior is white, similar to Aimé Leon Dore's flagship store on Mulberry Street in New York. There are also shot leather trunks and grill badges with the brand name engraved on them. Ducktail seems to be a tribute to cup cars in the 1990s.
Santis also visited the Porsche Museum and its production line to carry out the project, and said that it was produced under thorough research. "It was a dream to work with Porsche together. It was a very valuable experience for Porsche to be able to inject my designs into a big project."
“ Santis is a Porsche fan just like us. I'm happy to see 911 infused with his inspiration and creativity. There is only one in the world964 That's it. "
After appearing at New York Fashion Week, it is unknown where this 964 will go. It could be auctioned.
