On May 8, Bell Bonn, which deals with camera tripods, released the dG8x25 monocular with a shooting function made by Swarovski Optic. The price excluding tax is 270,000 yen.

If you connect this product to your smartphone via WiFi and install the dG app, you can share captured videos and identify birds by linking with "Merlin Bird ID". I appeal that I can enjoy bird watching more.

The magnification is 8 times, the objective lens diameter is 25 mm, and the actual field of view is 6.8 degrees. The built-in camera has 13 million pixels and can shoot still images [up to 4192 x 3104 dots] and HD resolutions [up to 1280 x 720 dots].

The size is 112 x 146 x 60 mm [width x depth x height], and the weight is 550 g. It is equipped with a 2600mAh battery and will operate for up to 360 minutes.

Accessories include a USB Type-C cable for charging, a dG field bag, a dG carrying strap, an eyepiece cover, and a cleaning cloth.
