Taichi Nakamura joins the first Japanese KBL

On the 16th, the B league of the men's professional basketball announced that Taiji Nakamura (22) who played at B1 Kyoto Hannarys this season will be the first Japanese to join the Korean basketball league (KBL) Wonju DB Promi. KBL has decided to introduce the Asian quota (only for Japanese in the first year) from next season, and will be transferred in the same quota.

Nakamura, a graduate of Hou University, has a guard of 190 cm and 83 kg. After playing as a specially designated player in the Mikawa, Toyama, and Yokohama teams, entered Kyoto in 1919. In this season, he has participated in all 41 games and recorded 260 points (average 6.3 points). He was elected to the Japan national team at the 18th Jakarta Asian Games.
