This is Nomad Sato walking across a co-working space in Tokyo. Working in various places, it is clear that prices and usage environments are different.
Naturally, when the daily charge is in the thousands of yen class, the facilities are enriched and the environment is perfect for intensive work. So do cheap spaces lack concentration? Not necessarily. Rather, there is no waste, and there are places where you can work even if you only have power and WiFi.
An accommodation facility that reuses sleeper trains in Bakurocho, Tokyo"Train Hostel Hokutosei" is only 500 yen for 11 to 16 hours no matter how many hours you use!Furthermore, the facilities are super beautiful !! Is it probably the cheapest and most advanced class simple workshop in Tokyo?
・ Lodging facilities
Regarding Hokutosei as accommodation,Previous articleI told you. Not only train enthusiasts, but also those who are not, will be able to enjoy a nostalgic accommodation experience.
You can use the lounge on the 2nd floor of the facility for only 500 yen from 11:00 to 16:00. It frees up guest check-in and check-out time.
At the reception, tell them you want to use co-work and pay 500 yen to go to the second floor. The rest of the area is used by guests, so stay out.
The lounge is made from parts of Hokutosei's dining car "Grand Chariot". Basically, it is a guest who eats. At the time I visited, no one else was using it as a workshop. It may be crowded depending on the time of day.
Almost every table has an outlet, and there is also a power supply connected to a USB terminal. It also has free WiFi, so it has enough facilities to work on PCs. There are no distractions such as comics or magazines, so it's a good place for those who are silently heading for computers.
・ Immerse yourself in work
After actually working for about two hours, it was much more comfortable than I expected. Anyway, it's quiet, soothing to everything you see. If you look at the auxiliary chairs that were familiar with sleepers, there are things that are somehow healing.
A full-fledged coworking space, where people who can work, come and go, can inspire you, but this is a place where you can enter your world. The best environment to focus on the things at hand and immerse yourself in the work. Nostalgic sleeper train furnishings seem to take you on a journey of your mind. Recommended for those who just want to concentrate on their work. It was the best trip feeling for 500 yen.
