Why the Porsche “ 911 '' has an engine behind it

I have tried a new Porsche 911 Carrera S. I was surprised at the advanced interior when I got in, but the structure of the car itself adopts the traditional "RR" that puts a high-powered engine behind the rear wheel axle. Why RR? And I would like to tell you about the new riding taste in two parts.
