Won 1st Judo Nagayama Tatsuki, Shimome V, Tamaki 2nd


In one of the Tokyo Olympic [Olympics] National Team selections, Tatsuki Nagayama [Rokutokuji Daiki], the world leader in the 60km class, won the championship by defeating Francisco Galligos [Spain] in the final. All five games were won.

In the women's 57-kilometer class, Momo Tamaki [Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance] defeated Tsuyoshi Yoshida [Komatsu], who finished second in the world championship this summer in the semi-finals, but lost to Kim Jin-ah [North Korea] in the final. Yoshida was defeated by Jessica Krumkite [Canada] in the third place decisive match and finished fifth.
